ACWWA Guidelines - Updating for Climate Change

ACWWA is currently facilitating a project titled Incorporating Climate Resilience for Municipal Infrastructure into the updates of Existing Atlantic Canada Water and Wastewater Design GuidelinesDirect stakeholders in the project include consultants, utility/public works personnel, equipment suppliers, and regulators.  A stakeholder notification has been circulated through various public organizations and can be downloaded HERE.


One item included in the project is the creation of a Knowledge Mobilization Plan to facilitate the collection and dissemination of current information on climate change and guidelines development. To access this file sharing engine, click HERE.


Other upcoming project initiatives include:    

  1.  A presentation on the project at the ACWWA Halifax Conference in October, 2019.

  2.  The first of four workshops will be held on Wednesday October 09, 2019 to coincide with the ACWWA Halifax Conference

  3.  Additional workshops will be held in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island, with dates and venues to be determined as the project moves forward.
