The Prince Edward Island Convention Centre is located on the beautiful Charlottetown Harbourfront. It offers stunning views of the Charlottetown waterfront and has an outdoor patio overlooking the scenic waterfront.

 

 

2023 Conference Hotel

The 2023 ACWWA conference will be held at the Conference Centre adjoining the Delta Hotels Prince Edward in downtown Charlottetown.
 
All available rooms at the Delta Hotels Prince Edward have been booked.
 
An additional 40 are being held at the Rodd Charlottetown
 
A group rate of $199 is available up to 30 days before your arrival for the conference.

All reservations must be made by individuals within your group no later than 30 days prior to the arrival date in order to be guaranteed a room at the group rate.  A credit card will be required to guarantee the room and a cancellation fee of one night's room and taxes will apply should the individual cancel the reservation within 3 days of the arrival date.

Building Resiliency on Prince Edward Island
 
Peter Nishimura has worked in the field of climate change adaptation and stakeholder engagement for over 12 years, formerly as a Senior Climate Change Policy Advisor in PEI’s Department of Environment, Energy and Climate Action and now as Manager of PEI’s Climate Action Secretariat. Peter has worked extensively on developing local climate hazard information and dissemination to integrate climate considerations into infrastructure placement and design.
 
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria, a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Mt. Allison University. He is a Past Treasurer and Board member of Green Learning Canada. He serves on the Federal-Provincial-Territorial Resilient Infrastructure Working Group and the Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation Advisory Board.

Annual Conference Cancellation Policy

ACWWA Delegate Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing, on company letterhead, and faxed, mailed or emailed to the ACWWA Office. Phone cancellations are not accepted. All cancellations postmarked/fax-dated 14 days in advance of the conference start date will receive a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations between 7 and 14 days of the conference start will receive a 50% refund.  Cancellations less than 7 days in advance of conference will not be refunded.  Please note that substitute registrants are welcome.  Fax requests for substitutions or cancellations to (902) 435-7796 or email to This email address is being protected from spambots.
