The 2025 ACWWA conference will be held at the St. John’s Convention Centre. The Delta Hotel is within walking distance and connected by ped ways.

After 10 years, the ACWWA Conference is returning to St. John's, NL!
The planning for this event has already begun. We are hoping to make this a memorable experience for all delegates and vendors. The conference theme is Charting the Course, which gives a nod to the rich nautical history of Newfoundland and Labrador, where everyone has a strong connection to the sea. Since John Cabot discovered Newfoundland in 1497, sailors have relied upon maps to chart their journeys around our province. The Conference schedule will include several days of diverse technical and social events, including awards, recognition, and the ABEA Hospitality Night.

Charity Silent Auction
At every annual conference, ACWWA hosts a charity auction to raise funds for Water for People Canada, an extension of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) charity, Water for People.
Water For People focuses on giving communities worldwide access to safe, clean, and sustainable drinking water. Their mission goes beyond infrastructure—it includes training residents to maintain water systems, ensuring long-term functionality and lasting impact. You can view the progress of WFP-supported regions through their online reporting portal https://canada.waterforpeople.org/, which tracks access to reliable water in project areas.
